To edit or create a new Reason of Contact for the Contact Log please follow the below steps.

To create a new Reason


1. Select Masters > Main Masters > Reasons (Personnel)

2. Select the arrow next to CRM to expand and view the reasons created for the Contact Log.

3. To create a new reason click the + Add new Subgroup with reason

The fields to create a Subgroup/Reason will appear below.

SubGroups
Enter one of the following Subgroups to link the reason:

  • Applicants - Reasons linked with communication to Applicants
  • Clients - Reasons linked with communication to Clients
  • Members - Reasons linked with communication to Members
  • Staff - Reasons linked with communication to internal Staff
Reason Description
The description field is where you define the Reason you wish to create. i.e Outstanding Invoice

Status
Status must be set to active for the reason to appear and be used within the contact log.

Default
This is a global setting and if ticked it will populate the reason automatically when creating a manual log against the subgroup type.

4. Select the green tick to save new Contact log reason.



To edit a Reason



1. Select Masters > Main Masters > Reasons (Personnel)




2. Select the arrow next to CRM to expand and view the reasons created for the Contact Log.



3. Select the Pencil next to the Reason you wish to edit.

4. Update fields accordingly and select the green tick to save changes.
