The contact log provides the ability to send outgoing communication through SMS, Push Notifications and Email while creating a log.

To send outgoing communication through the Contact Log please follow the below steps.

1. Select the User Type to Connect and the Contact Name



2. Select Add Log



3. From the New Contact Log Screen enter in all applicable fields ensuring data is applied to the field Reason of Contact and all fields marked with *  .

SMS

  • When sending an SMS the details provided in the comments section will be sent to the mobile number entered in the Mobile field.
  • The Contact Method to send a SMS is required to be "BY SMS" as this activates the tick box in the bottom right hand corner to notify the system to send an SMS.

Push
  • When sending a Push Notification the details provided in the comments section will be sent to the Mobile App as a notification. Please note: this is currently only set up for Members with the Mobile App.
  • The Contact Method to send a Push Notification is required to be "BY PUSH" as this activates the tick box in the bottom right hand corner to notify the system to send a Push Notification.

Email
  • When sending an email any details provided in the comments section will be sent to the Contact Email ID, if a template is selected the template will be inserted above the comments in the email sent.
  • The Contact Method to send an Email is required to be "BY EMAIL" as this activates the tick box in the bottom right hand corner to notify the system to send an Email.
  • There is also the ability to CC another email on this outgoing communication by entering an email in the CC field.
